Experience:-

- Role Overview
- Senior Java Backend Developer with strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud-native development experience, plus practical experience using Claude/Claude Code or similar AI assistants throughout the SDLC.
- Key Responsibilities:-
- Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot; develop RESTful APIs and microservices; implement business logic using clean-code and SOLID principles; troubleshoot L2/L3 production issues; perform performance tuning.
- Spring Boot & Microservices
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. Implement service-to-service communication, fault tolerance, API gateways, configuration management, logging, and distributed tracing.
- Database
- Strong SQL and relational database experience such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL. Design tables, indexes, queries and relationships; optimize slow queries and database performance. MongoDB is an advantage.
- AI-Assisted SDLC – Claude
- Use Claude/Claude Code or similar AI development tools for requirements analysis, technical design, task breakdown, coding, refactoring, unit/integration test generation, debugging, code reviews, security analysis, documentation, API documentation, and test-case generation.
- AI Quality & Governance
- Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code. Ensure production-grade quality, security, maintainability, performance, and compliance. Understand limitations and risks of AI-generated code.
- Testing & Quality
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito; perform API testing; participate in code reviews; establish coding standards; identify and reduce technical debt.
- DevOps & Cloud
- Experience with Git and CI/CD. Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, deployment, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- SDLC & Collaboration
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and developers; translate requirements into technical solutions; participate in architecture/design discussions; maintain technical documentation; mentor junior developers.
