Account Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
• Meet revenue-based and monthly quotas while supporting account growth and operational needs.
• Assess customer needs, propose solutions, and serve as the single point of contact.
• Use data to address customer concerns and inform buying and renewal decisions.
• Manage competitive pressures, handle objections, negotiate, and build relationships with decision-makers.
• Identify additional sales opportunities, risks, and barriers; develop contingency plans.
• Work with a team and report directly to a Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to manage complex client accounts and maintain favorable client relationships.
• Ability to manage customer relationships end to end, including renewals, expansions, and service conversions.
• Ability to work toward revenue-based and monthly sales quotas.
• Ability to assess customer needs, propose solutions, and handle objections.
• Ability to use data to address customer concerns and influence buying or renewal decisions.
• Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and coordinate with a team.
