Join Apple’s Creativity Apps team to architect and build media management and collaboration features for creative tools.
Work with teams behind Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and iWork on next-generation creator tools.
This is an early role on a new engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Set direction and architecture for collaborative features in the creative space.
- Drive features from concept through delivery.
- Collaborate with human interface designers, QA, and cross-functional teams.
- Influence decisions from user interface to project planning.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 5 years shipping high-quality, tested code on iOS and/or macOS.
- Technical lead experience with communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of Apple platform architectural patterns, computer science fundamentals, and object-oriented design.
- Proficiency in Swift and at least one of SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, own product features, mentor others, and foster an open, inclusive environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Interest in creative apps such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, iMovie, or GarageBand.
- Experience with Swift concurrency, including async/await and actors.
- Proficiency with Swift Testing and/or XCTest.
- Commitment to accessibility and localization.
Compensation
- Base pay range is $153,700 to $290,700; pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Benefits include medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and eligible education-expense reimbursement.
- The role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation.
