Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design and build the Xcode Cloud web experience alongside Human Interface designers and server engineers.
• Build workflows for managing builds, running tests in parallel, distributing apps to testers, and acting on feedback.
• Treat performance, security, privacy, and accessibility as core requirements.
• Shape the daily workflow of developers shipping apps for Apple platforms.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience building large-scale web applications.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of web fundamentals, including accessibility and performance.
• Experience with automated testing, code review, and continuous delivery.
• Experience communicating with customers and collaborating across design and engineering teams.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with a component-based UI framework such as React.
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo or Nx.
• Experience integrating web service APIs.
• Exposure to iOS or macOS development with Swift, Objective-C, or C/C++.
• Fluency with AI assistants and agentic coding workflows.
• Enthusiasm for great design.

Compensation

• The stated base pay range is $119,100 to $230,500; the posting does not specify a pay cadence.
