Sr IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer / Consultant

Role overview

Architecture and configuration

• Plan, configure, and maintain MAS 8/9+ components, including MAS Manage, MAS Monitor, MAS Health, and MAS Predict.
• Support deployment on Red Hat OpenShift with cloud and infrastructure teams; configure security, directory integrations, and role-based access controls.
• Implement automation scripts and customize applications using Maximo Application Designer, Database Configuration, Domains, and Workflow Designer.
• Develop workflows aligned with standard operating and maintenance procedures.

Integration, testing, and client delivery

• Configure integrations using MIF, REST APIs, JSON, and Kafka/MQ queues; connect MAS with ERP, IoT/SCADA, GIS, and document management systems.
• Plan and execute migration and schema mapping from Maximo 7.6 or external systems to MAS.
• Conduct unit and system integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Prepare architecture designs, interface control documents, and operational runbooks; deliver client handovers and tier-3 stabilization troubleshooting.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on IBM Maximo experience, including at least 1–2 years dedicated to MAS 8.x/9.x.
• Proven experience configuring Red Hat OpenShift environments hosting Maximo Suite.
• Strong expertise in MIF, REST/JSON APIs, Web Services, and Enterprise Service Bus.
• Proficiency in Python/Jython automation scripting and SQL with Oracle DB, IBM Db2, or MS SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Maximo Manage Asset, Work Order, Inventory, Purchasing, and Preventive Maintenance modules.

Preferred skills and credentials

• IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Maximo Application Suite or Maximo Asset Management is preferred.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration is preferred.
• KSA enterprise project experience in energy/utilities, infrastructure, transportation, or giga-projects is preferred.
