Job Summary
Implement, monitor, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at project sites.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on offshore oil and gas project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor project HSE plans, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
- Lead HSE activities at offshore and onshore project sites.
- Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP, JSA, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor safe work practices and permit-to-work systems.
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and safety training.
- Liaise with project management, contractors, and clients on HSE matters.
- Promote safety culture and continuous improvement on site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- 15 or more years of HSE experience in oil and gas projects.
- Proven offshore project experience, including platforms, FPSO, offshore construction, or drilling support.
- Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Familiarity with offshore safety regulations and permit systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
