Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop data-domain knowledge and support business data solutions and BI best practices using Power BI.
• Understand internal customer needs and provide insights that support decisions.
• Collaborate with senior teammates on analytical modeling, BI best practices, and methodologies.
• Support the design and development of tools and products that bring analytic methods and models to teams and customers.
• Create scalable dashboards and scorecards for organizational metrics and KPIs.
• Perform ad hoc exploratory data analysis and gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, and user-story workshops.
• Support statistical, analytical data, and decision models that relate operational activities to results.
• Identify data abnormalities and support data quality across delivered solutions.

Required qualifications

• At least three years in a related Business Analyst or data/reporting analyst role.
• Working knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.
• Experience with DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake or another cloud database platform.
• Exposure to the Microsoft analytics stack, including SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL, and T-SQL.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Claude to enhance BI development and delivery.
• U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship.

• The work uses Power BI and other data visualization tools to create dashboards and scorecards.
• The role involves analytics, data discovery, analytical modeling, Agile collaboration, and data-quality practices.
