About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Barista to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate has strong coffee knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to supervise and develop a team in a fast-paced café environment.
This role is responsible for maintaining beverage quality and consistency, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the outlet.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and other café beverages, in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, and portion control.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times.
- Supervise, support, and motivate barista team members during daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, dining areas, and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and coordinate maintenance or repairs when required.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, disposables, and other supplies, and report replenishment needs.
- Minimize waste and support effective stock control practices.
- Support management in achieving sales targets and maintaining high operational standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by management in line with business requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Barista, including at least 1 specialty coffee
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, brewing methods, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and stock management.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- English communication skills are required
Preferred Qualifications
- Barista certification or specialty coffee training is an advantage.
- Immediate joiners required
- with valid health certificate
- Experience working in high-volume cafés or hospitality environments.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
