Overview
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve robust and scalable software applications.
- Architect and implement high-performance APIs that power our platform.
- Proactively identify and resolve code inefficiencies, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Contribute to technology evaluations and rapid prototyping of new solutions.
- Develop maintainable, scalable, and performant systems, adhering to best practices in security, accessibility, and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate closely with team members in an agile environment, fostering a culture of shared learning and innovation.
- Manage server and database infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- See projects through from conception to completion, taking ownership and driving results.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in back-end development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP (preferred) or other server-side languages (Python, Ruby, Java, .NET).
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL or similar).
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora) is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to design and develop APIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team.
