Sr Analyst - Supply Planner

Role Overview
Ensure appropriate goods availability in stores and distribution centers while optimizing inventory, logistics cost, and profitability.
Use sales forecasts to plan stock and place appropriate orders across the distribution network.
Collaborate with suppliers to manage fulfillment and improve delivery performance.
Operational Activities
- Manage availability and stock levels for assigned articles, categories, suppliers, and locations.
- Place purchasing orders for stores, warehouses, distribution centers, depots, and hubs across all flow types.
- Improve delivery conditions, including lead times, delivery frequency, and minimum order quantities or values.
- Optimize orders and supplier conditions to achieve target saturation levels.
- Resolve planning-tool exceptions with internal departments and suppliers.
- Manage open orders, supplier delivery schedules, push orders, customer orders, and product lifecycle transitions.
Continuous Improvement
- Optimize fulfillment efficiency across the logistics network.
- Reduce out-of-stocks and overstock and help implement solutions for recurring issues.
- Coordinate delivery plans with logistics colleagues to meet capacity constraints and reduce costs.
Collaboration
- Monitor open orders and non-deliveries and develop solutions with suppliers, logistics services, and offer teams.
- Participate in collaborative forecasting with suppliers and the Supplier Collaboration team.
- Anticipate critical assortment shortages and steer recovery plans.
- Report inconsistent data to the Master Data team.
- Execute buying opportunities that improve profitability while respecting stock targets.
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Supply Chain as an academic background is advantageous.
- Ability to use IT applications such as MMS.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability.
- Fluent professional English and local languages.
- Attention to detail, logical and mathematical thinking, communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
