Sr. Analyst, Security - McKinney, TX

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support personnel, physical, and program security procedures under applicable government requirements.
• Process Pre-Screening Questionnaires and personnel security actions.
• Submit required reports to customer stakeholders and maintain security databases.
• Assist with local security standard operating procedures and subcontractor security requirements.
• Participate in internal assessments and government inspections.
• Document security incidents and prepare basic reports.
• Support internal and external security reviews, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Safeguard employee personal information under the Privacy Act.
• Work extended hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; business travel may be required.

Required qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience and at least two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft products.
• Active and transferable government-issued security clearance required before starting; active existing clearance required on day one.
• U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for the required clearance.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) or other government security policies.
• Experience supporting SAP or SCI programs; familiarity with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, or ICD-705.
• Related degree, national security experience, or DCSA/CDSE coursework.
• Experience reviewing DD254s or using DISS or equivalent customer systems.
• Self-starter with professional interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility is also listed as preferred.

Compensation

• The posted salary range is $68,900–$131,100 per year.

Work arrangement

• Onsite role at the McKinney, Texas location.
