Role overview
Develop and execute testing scenarios and scripts for functional, system integration, and acceptance testing across multiple platforms.
Apply established controls, standards, policies, and procedures while using judgment to resolve complex testing problems or escalate concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs, and specifications into test requirements; coordinate end-to-end testing across projects and teams.
- Collaborate with test leads, business teams, analysts, and development teams to establish test plans, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor quality standards, report testing progress, and ensure test activities follow software development life cycle standards.
- Maintain test system configurations, execute test scripts with test tools, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvements.
- Provide technical training to less experienced employees and respond to client inquiries for the assigned portfolio.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle, Agile or Waterfall methodologies, and QA approaches, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of IVR testing tools Cyara Botium and Cyara Velocity is mandatory.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; ability to investigate complex problems and communicate detailed information.
