Role overview

Lead a team of Financial Advisors within an Imperial Service Community to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Build a capable and motivated team while ensuring effective operations, processes, controls, and compliance.

The role is on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach Financial Advisors to deepen client relationships and grow business.
  • Provide employee development opportunities and build a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Monitor business performance and implement action plans to close gaps and maximize market opportunities.
  • Manage risk and safeguard the bank, clients, and shareholders.
  • Promote CIBC in the community, develop client relationships, and support recruitment.
  • Model excellent client service and encourage timely complaint resolution and escalation.
  • Ensure effective operations, processes, controls, and compliance.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and developing and coaching employees.
  • Current Mutual Funds License in good standing, through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
  • Branch Compliance Officer’s Course, Branch Managers Examination Course, Conducts & Practices Handbook, Wealth Management Essentials, or Certified Financial Planner completion is an asset.
