Sr. Analyst, Energy Markets - Eastern US

Education and Experience

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce.
• Master’s degree or professional designation (or progress toward one) is an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in North American power and gas markets.
• Demonstrated experience forecasting wholesale electricity prices and asset revenues.
• Proven ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable business recommendations.
• Technical & Professional Skills
• Advanced quantitative and financial modeling skills (CONE, LCOE, dispatch, gross margin).
• Strong understanding of power market structures and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‐level presentations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python and data analysis tools; exposure to market models is an asset.
• Additional Details:
• The pay range for this position is $140,000-$177,000 USD.
• The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience. This position is eligible for health care benefits, retirement benefits, paid time off, and annual bonus.
