About This Role
Primary Purpose of the Job
To ensure the as built data submitted meets Refinery standards, Specification, and requirement by reviewing Master Deliverable Register (MDR), index structure, format and presentation of project dossiers.
Ensure relevant forms as per Refinery Integrated management system Procedures are submitted.
To carry out the Life cycle management of technical documentation (Drawings and Technical Documents) pertaining to Refinery as per Refinery Engineering Document Control Procedure and update the project dossiers with revised data, archiving of the obsolete documentation and update the Document Master Index.
Liaison with QatarEnergy Refinery employees, QatarEnergy Representatives, Consultants and Contractors who utilizes technical library that covers the complete drawings and technical documents pertaining Refining operations and Projects.
To search and retrieve data in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Instruments disciplines for tag proposals of the Equipment, system, components, and its subcomponents.
Provides copy services for both hard copy and soft copy of drawings and technical documents to all departments in Refining Operations.
Required Experience and Skills
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of manual and electronic document control management systems and technical data.
- Good Knowledge of English, both written and Spoken and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on MS Access, Excel, and Word.
Experience
Minimum 7-year experience in a document control environment with minimum 2 years in Oil & Gas Industry / Refinery.
Education
al Qualifications
Technical Diploma or equivalent.
