Speech Therapist

Overview

• We are looking for a DHA licensed speech therapist with minimum 1 year of experience in the UAE
• Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address patients' needs
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
• Stay up to date with the latest research and techniques in the field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders, such as language delays, articulation disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, and dysphagia.
• Use a variety of assessment tools and techniques, including standardized tests, observations, and interviews with patients and their families.
• Use evidence-based practices and the latest research in speech-language pathology to inform treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to ensure that treatment goals are aligned with patients' needs and preferences.
• Use technology and specialized equipment to support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, such as augmentative and alternative communication devices and feeding tubes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Follow ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice, including confidentiality, informed consent, and cultural sensitivity.
• Engage in advocacy efforts to promote awareness and understanding of speech-language pathology and its impact on individuals and communities.
