Role overview
Specification Engineer supporting Kingspan building insulation and HVAC products through consultant engagement, specification work, technical support, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Develop specifications with architectural and MEP consultants for building insulation and HVAC requirements.
- Work with insulation and HVAC teams on strategies to grow market share; understand relevant certification-body standards and market requirements.
- Deliver presentations, technical training, and CPD sessions; arrange and host seminars and attend project-specific meetings to answer engineers’ questions.
- Support market and competitor analysis, new product ideas, and coordination with other divisions on strategy.
- Prepare technical proposals and collaborate with sales and marketing on business opportunities, pre-sales, and client presentations.
- Train internal and external stakeholders on products and applications; monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and trade shows to present products, build professional connections, and follow market developments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in building materials; insulation-application experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
