About This Role
Clinical Responsibilities
- Interpret and report:
- X-rays
- Ultrasound studies
- CT scans
- MRI imaging
- Women s imaging and breast imaging studies (preferred)
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reporting to support clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across:
- Internal Medicine
- Surgery
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Emergency Medicine and Oncology services
- Participate in image-guided procedures where applicable
Women s Imaging Focus
- Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Breast imaging and screening
- Female pelvic imaging
- Obstetric and gynecological ultrasound
- Women s health-focused radiology services
Service Structure
- Hospital-based radiology department
- High-volume imaging environment
- Access to modern diagnostic imaging technology and PACS systems
- Multidisciplinary collaboration across inpatient and outpatient services
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of reporting accuracy and turnaround times
- Participate in departmental quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
- Support junior staff and contribute to radiology workflow efficiency
- Deliver compassionate and patient-focused communication, particularly within women s imaging services
