As a Specialist Physician in Stroke and Neurophysiology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with neurological disorders, with a particular focus on stroke care and neurophysiological assessments.
You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through timely interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions, emphasizing stroke evaluation and treatment
- Perform neurophysiological studies including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as required
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
- Collaborate closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient and family education regarding neurological conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Stay updated with current research, guidelines, and best practices in stroke care and neurophysiology
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurology, Neurophysiology, or related field
- Board certification or equivalent credentials in Neurology or Neurophysiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven clinical experience in stroke management and neurophysiological diagnostics
- Strong analytical and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centered care
