Duties
- and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgical care, particularly burn-related cases.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures related to burn injuries and reconstructive treatments.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient recovery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure high-quality patient management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, patient safety protocols, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
- Specialist Certification / Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
- Relevant experience in Burn Unit and Reconstructive Surgery.
- DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter is preferred.
- Strong clinical expertise and decision-making skills.
- Previous experience in tertiary or government healthcare facilities is an advantage.
