- We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiac Surgeon for a premier role within the private healthcare sector.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.
- You will design individualized treatment plans using the latest pain management techniques and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Your role will also include educating patients and their families on pain management options and promoting strategies to improve patients’ quality of life.
- Keeping abreast of emerging research and best practices in Pain Medicine is essential to delivering the highest standard of care.
- Responsibilities:* Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose pain-related conditions
- Develop and implement tailored pain management plans
- Administer pharmacological and interventional pain treatments, including nerve blocks and injections
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide patient education on pain management and coping strategies
- Stay informed about advancements in Pain Medicine and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Pain Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice
- Proven experience in managing a variety of acute and chronic pain conditions
- Strong knowledge of pain assessment and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in Pain Medicine
