Overview
A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a
Specialist Ophthalmologist
to support expanding ophthalmology and eye-care services within its hospital and outpatient network.
The role offers access to modern ophthalmology equipment, procedural services, and multidisciplinary support.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage:
- Cataracts and glaucoma
- Retinal and corneal disorders
- Refractive and general ophthalmic conditions
- Diabetic eye disease
- Perform:
- Cataract surgery and ophthalmic procedures
- Laser and diagnostic eye procedures
- Outpatient ophthalmology consultations
- Support multidisciplinary diabetic and chronic disease programs
Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Ophthalmology
- Surgical ophthalmology exposure preferred
- DOH eligibility or UAE licensing preferred
- Strong procedural and patient communication skills required
