Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Specialist Hemato‑Oncologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai.
The role involves providing expert care in the diagnosis and management of hematologic disorders and solid‑tumor oncology cases, working within a multidisciplinary cancer care framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic diseases and oncology conditions.
- Oversee chemotherapy planning, administration, and follow‑up.
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient hemato‑oncology services.
- Interpret bone marrow biopsies, flow cytometry, and hematologic investigations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinate care with pathology, radiology, surgery, and radiation oncology.
- Ensure adherence to international guidelines (NCCN, ESMO, ASCO).
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient‑safety initiatives.
- Provide teaching and support to junior doctors and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support digital health workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Hematology / Medical Oncology:
- American Board, Canadian FRCSC, CCT (UK), CESR, or equivalent Western training.
- Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialist experience preferred.
- Experience in managing both benign and malignant hematologic conditions.
- Eligibility for DHA Specialist License (Dubai Health Authority).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and modern oncology protocols.
- Competence in managing complex hematologic emergencies.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and evidence‑based practice.
- Ability to contribute to service development and cancer program expansion.
