Clinical responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecological care, including outpatient consultations and inpatient management.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Assess and manage gynecological conditions; counsel patients on treatment, preventive care, and reproductive health.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and maintain accurate medical records.
- Follow clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Support clinical teaching and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Recognized MBBS or equivalent medical degree and completed residency or specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid UAE professional license to practice as a Specialist Gynecologist, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proficiency in gynecological diagnosis and management, common procedures, and minimally invasive interventions.
- Strong patient assessment, clinical decision-making, evidence-based practice, safety, and quality skills.
- Culturally sensitive communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and compliance with policies, regulations, and professional guidelines.
- Clinical teaching, continuing medical education, research, or quality improvement experience or interest is an advantage.
- English fluency is required; Arabic or other commonly spoken UAE languages are beneficial.
