Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience working with children and teenagers in schools or educational settings

Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities of the role Corresponding Key Activities performed by the role
  • Academic & Educational Guidance
  • · Oversee and guide students in completion of homework and academic assignments
  • · Support students in understanding curriculum requirements and study methods
  • · Develop structured study plans for students requiring additional support
  • · Monitor academic progress and recommend interventions when required
  • Counselling & Student Development
  • · Provide age‐appropriate counselling to children and teenagers
  • · Address behavioral, emotional, or learning concerns
  • · Support development of discipline, responsibility, and self‐management skills
  • · Refer complex cases to senior leadership or external specialists when needed
  • Supervision & Coordination
  • · Coordinate with teachers on student academic and behavioral issues
  • · Participate in parent meetings and provide feedback on student progress
  • · Maintain structured reports and documentation
  • Facility‐Specific Responsibilities
  • · Support school‐wide student support initiatives
  • · Participate in academic planning and improvement programs
  • Compliance Guidelines
  • · Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
  • · Maintain confidentiality of student and family information
