Role overview

Guest service and reservations

• Provide warm, anticipative service and information about spa facilities and services in person and by telephone.
• Explain treatments and facility details accurately and respond fully to inquiries.
• Book spa treatments and personal training sessions; record reservations and guest requirements accurately to support smooth service.
• Provide spa tours when needed.

Facility and front-desk operations

• Control entry to facility areas by restricting unauthorized individuals.
• Follow credit and cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and retail products.
• Follow occupational health and safety regulations, report suspicious activity to hotel security, and adhere to the hotel Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Outstanding guest-service skills, professional presentation, and strong verbal and written communication.
• Guest-oriented, vibrant personality, and enthusiasm for assisting people.
• Proficient spoken and written English; a second or third language is an asset.
• At least two years of spa industry or hospitality experience.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and effectively, with basic accounting knowledge.
• Computer literacy in Windows and MS Office Suite; Opera PMS system is recommended.
