Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef based in Riyadh.

The Sous Chef will play a key role in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation standards, and maintaining high levels of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities will include menu planning, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing inventory and stock levels, and mentoring kitchen staff.

The Sous Chef will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to uphold the restaurant's reputation for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary expertise, including proficiency in food preparation, plating, and presentation techniques
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities to supervise and train kitchen staff effectively
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety standards, and hygiene protocols
  • Menu development and the ability to contribute creative ideas based on high-end dining concepts
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred but not required
