- Lead all aspects of kitchen operations, providing hands-on oversight and direction to a skilled culinary team.
- Develop, design, and execute bespoke seasonal menus catering to the principals’ preferences, dietary needs, and guest requirements.
- Maintain uncompromising standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency for daily dining and special events.
- Source and select the highest quality ingredients, ensuring sustainability and provenance are prioritised in all purchases.
- Manage procurement, inventory, and budgetary control in line with household protocols.
- Ensure the rigorous application of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards within the kitchen.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, cultivating a respectful and high-performance team spirit.
- Collaborate closely with household management to plan events, respond to last-minute requests, and accommodate special occasions.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organisation, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and workspaces.
