**About Us** Gran Caffè is an established upscale Italian restaurant in Dubai, known for its culinary excellence, quality ingredients, and authentic dining experience.

**The Role** We are looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to serve as the right hand to our Head Chef — a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a high-standard kitchen and is passionate about Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen management and lead the brigade during service in their absence
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Assist in menu development and seasonal updates in line with our culinary identity
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to continuously raise their standards
- Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, minimize wastage, and ensure full HACCP compliance
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior role
- Strong background in Italian cuisine; a culinary qualification is preferred
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team under pressure
- Highly organized, creative, and consistent in execution
- Experience in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage
