About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dependable **Sous Chef** to join our smokehouse team.
The ideal candidate should be able to control and lead the line during busy times, have strong kitchen operations experience, be confident in leading a team, and understand the standards required in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and service
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Support and guide kitchen staff during prep and service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Help with recipe consistency, portion control, and waste reduction
- Step in to manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role
- Experience in a smokehouse, BBQ concept, grill section, or high-volume kitchen is preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for food quality and consistency

- Strong communication skills
- Available to join immediately or on short notice is an advantage
- Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
