Solutions Architect

Required: 15+ Years Relevant Experience

Solution Design and Architecture

• Gather and analyze business requirements from real estate stakeholders (e.g., property development, leasing, finance, operations) to design end-to-end SAP architectures aligned with business goals, UAE-specific needs (e.g., local compliance, multi-currency, multi-entity setups), and best practices.
• Define scalable, integrated SAP solutions using modules like RE-FX, FI/CO, PS, MM, and extensions on SAP BTP for custom functionalities (e.g., property matching, analytics, or workflow automations).
• Create blueprints, high-level designs, and technical specifications for new developments, enhancements, or migrations (e.g., to S/4HANA).

Application Development Leadership

• Lead custom development efforts, including ABAP, Fiori apps, BTP extensions, integrations (e.g., with third-party real estate tools, CRM, or external systems), and clean-core implementations.
• Guide development teams in building, configuring, and testing solutions to optimize real estate processes like lease management, space utilization, maintenance contracts, and revenue forecasting.
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and scalable for large property portfolios common in UAE developments.

Managed Services and Support

• Provide ongoing AMS, including incident management, problem resolution, system monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive optimizations.
• Handle upgrades, patches, migrations (e.g., to cloud/RISE with SAP), and continuous improvements to ensure high availability and compliance.
• Support post-go-live stabilization, user training, knowledge transfer, and SLAs for managed services contracts.

Project and Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with clients, business users, developers, and partners to facilitate workshops, design decisions, data migration planning, testing strategies, and quality assurance.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts in transformation projects.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, budget, timelines, and regulatory standards in the UAE real estate market.

Technical Leadership and Governance

• Act as SME for SAP in real estate contexts, providing thought leadership on trends like AI-driven analytics, cloud adoption, or integrated ESG reporting.
• Oversee integration strategies (e.g., A2A, APIs) and ensure solutions follow SAP best practices.

Typical Qualifications and Skills

• years of SAP experience, with years as a Solution Architect in implementations/transformations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (especially RE-FX, FI/CO, PS) and real estate industry processes (property lifecycle, leasing, finance integration).
• Experience in application development (ABAP, BTP, extensions) and managed services/AMS environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC real estate specifics (e.g., lease compliance, VAT, multi-company setups).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications like SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA (or relevant modules) are advantageous.
