Role overview

The AI Solutions Architect is the primary technical authority within a client engagement and works hands-on across the AI-driven delivery lifecycle.

The role designs architecture embedding AI agents across the SDLC and combines code-level work with client-executive architecture communication.

AI-driven delivery

  • Design and build AI-agent architecture across requirements gathering, code generation, testing, documentation, and release management.
  • Set standards for AI-assisted approaches and human oversight to protect quality, compliance, and client trust.
  • Review, build, and validate AI-driven approaches against engineering constraints, feeding findings into delivery practices.
  • Plan integration of AI and agentic tools into existing client technology stacks and environments.

Solutioning and architecture ownership

  • Partner on pre-SOW solutioning, technical approach, architecture, feasibility, proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
  • Translate client requirements into credible technical narratives and delivery approaches, including AI-related opportunities and risks.
  • Own tailored cloud-solution architecture from design through resolution and align it with client requirements and constraints.
  • Define functional and nonfunctional requirements and business goals with stakeholders; identify and mitigate architecture risks.
  • Influence product and technical vision, development strategy, and roadmaps; contribute to code reviews and architecture documentation.
  • Design in alignment with DevOps culture and QA automation practices.

Leadership and mentorship

  • Participate in the Architecture Practice community and mentor engineers on projects or through Communities of Practice, especially in AI-driven delivery.
  • Develop and lead technical vision across one or more business or technical domains, focusing on business value.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years as a Software Architect and/or Solutions Architect, with hands-on proficiency in relevant cloud and AI/agentic delivery tooling.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting AI agents into the SDLC and designing a human-oversight model.
  • Pre-sales or pre-SOW solutioning experience, including technical approach, scoping, and effort estimation.
  • High English proficiency and ability to communicate architecture to clients up to executive level.
  • Strong SDLC knowledge, actionable metrics and KPIs familiarity, architectural design proficiency, and experience leading Agile software development.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools; ability to manage multiple parallel projects.

Desired experience

  • Desired: data analysis, modelling, architecture, ETL dataflows, and scalable distributed or cloud-native data stores.
  • Desired: SaaS or highly scalable distributed cloud-application design, financial management and ROI calculation, or a Solutions Architect certification for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
