What you'll do
- Find opportunities to improve commercial systems, processes, and decision frameworks through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Support inventory-related Revenue Management systems and align their evolution with commercial priorities.
- Define business requirements and influence product roadmaps with Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital, and Technology teams.
- Oversee enhancements, upgrades, testing, and production releases while minimizing business disruption.
- Monitor optimization performance, user behavior, and forecasting outcomes and recommend improvements.
- Calibrate forecasting models, optimization parameters, and inventory controls to maximize revenue.
- Maintain system data quality, governance, and usability; translate analysis into practical commercial recommendations.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in inventory optimization and availability management.
- Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Databricks, or similar analytical tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects while balancing operational priorities.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is stated; airline industry experience is desirable.
Desirable qualifications
- An MBA is advantageous.
- Experience with Amadeus, Sabre, PROS, or other Revenue Management platforms is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is desirable.
- Experience delivering automation, analytics, or AI-enabled commercial solutions is desirable.
