Solution Architect Oracle Fusion HCM (Core HR, Talent Management & Payroll)

Job summary

Architecture and HCM configuration

• Lead design workshops, own solution design documents, and make design decisions across Core HR, Absence, Talent Management, and Payroll.
• Design and configure Performance Management, Goal Management, Career Development, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Profiles, Skills, Learning, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
• Configure payroll elements, balances, Fast Formulas, retroactive pay, costing, and General Ledger transfers; lead parallel runs, reconciliation, and validation.
• Configure absence plans, accruals, entitlements, workforce structures, position management, approvals, security, Journeys, and Redwood experiences.
• Use Fast Formulas, approval rules, HCM Experience Design Studio, alerts, and relevant Oracle AI capabilities.

Implementation and delivery

• Personally configure, test, and troubleshoot critical functional components and review team deliverables for quality.
• Allocate consultants across concurrent projects, track milestones, manage risks and change requests, and lead testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Present designs and implementation progress to HR leaders, Human Resources directors, and steering committees.
• Support proposals, solution write-ups, demonstrations, effort estimates, and implementation planning.
• Apply implementation best practices and improve Oracle Fusion HCM processes and solution quality.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of Oracle HCM experience, including at least 7 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud experience.
• At least four end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations involving Talent Management and Payroll; at least two as Solution Architect or Functional Lead, including one within the last two years.
• Strong hands-on Core HR and Absence Management expertise, plus hands-on experience in at least three Talent Management modules.
• Oracle Fusion Payroll experience across at least two implementations, including parallel runs and go-live.
• Strong knowledge of payroll elements, balances, Fast Formulas, retroactive pay, costing, and General Ledger transfers.
• Experience configuring workforce structures, position management, absence plans, accruals, entitlements, approvals, and security.
• Knowledge of HCM Experience Design Studio, approval rules, alerts, Redwood experiences, and relevant Oracle AI features.
• Experience managing consultants across at least two concurrent projects and delivering the full implementation lifecycle.
• Able to resolve complex functional issues, guide consultants, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Preferred qualifications

• Workforce Compensation and skills-based talent design experience.
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Oracle Learning implementation experience.
• UAE payroll knowledge, including WPS, GPSSA requirements, gratuity, and Emiratisation.
• Experience with UAE government or semi-government organizations.
• Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS background.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion HCM AI capabilities and modern Redwood experiences.
