Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Consultant

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation and transformation projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional solutions.
• Configure and support procurement modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, purchasing policies, requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Design and optimize procurement processes using Oracle Fusion best practices.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification, registration, and lifecycle processes.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation.
• Support integrations with Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle Cloud modules; coordinate with technical teams on interfaces, reports, and extensions.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and master-data activities.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
• Develop procurement reports and analytics using OTBI and BI Publisher; provide go-live, hypercare, and post-production support.
• Conduct workshops, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and user training; collaborate with project and stakeholder teams.
• Identify process improvements and recommend solutions aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.

Required qualifications

• 10–20 years of Oracle Procurement/ERP functional consulting experience, including significant Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement experience.
• Strong Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation experience; one or more end-to-end implementations are preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Hands-on experience with Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, and Procurement Contracts.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, OTBI, BI Publisher, integrations, and functional documentation.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing cycles, supplier management, and approval workflows.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills; experience with onsite/offshore teams.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Preferred qualifications

• Preferred or advantageous: large-scale transformation programs, Source-to-Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL/HSDL, and data migration.
• Preferred or advantageous: Oracle security, roles and workflows; complex OTBI analyses, dashboards, and BI Publisher reports; Oracle Inventory, Order Management, or Financials; GCC/UAE procurement.
• Oracle Procurement Cloud/Fusion certification is preferred; client-facing consulting and Agile or structured implementation experience are also noted.
