About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Software Sales Engineer to drive software sales, customer engagement, and business growth.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer business needs by presenting, demonstrating, and selling software products and solutions to prospective clients.
The Software Sales Engineer will work closely with the technical, and implementation teams to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and support the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for software products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and software demonstrations.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable software solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Technical Consultation
- Explain software features, functionality, and technical benefits to customers.
- Assist customers in understanding system integrations, workflows, and deployment models.
Customer Engagement
- Gather customer feedback and communicate product improvement suggestions internally.
- Maintain strong post-sales customer relationships for renewals and upselling opportunities.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer demands.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, webinars, and business networking events.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain CRM updates, sales pipeline, and customer records.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
- Coordinate contract discussions and support commercial negotiations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration , Marketing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software sales, SaaS sales, ERP sales, or IT solution selling.
- Strong understanding of business software applications and enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to non-technical clients.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP, HRMS, Payroll, CRM, Tally, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience in B2B software sales.
- UAEmarket experience is an advantage.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
