Opportunity

Engineering Manager for the full-stack team responsible for the Activix CRM platform and related services.

The role combines people leadership, technical credibility, and delivery management.

Leadership and delivery

  • Turn ambiguous goals into practical actions, set ownership, remove blockers, track commitments, and escalate risks early with recommendations.
  • Develop engineers through clear expectations, feedback, career and performance conversations, thoughtful hiring, and onboarding.
  • Partner with Product, UX, Data, and adjacent teams on outcomes, scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate ceremonies; manage capacity, milestones, progress, dependencies, risks, and forecasts; review outcomes and production performance after release.
  • Use retrospectives to address recurring delivery problems and protect time for technical improvement, mentoring, and learning.

Technical and operational leadership

  • Understand architecture, code, integrations, and infrastructure; participate in design and code reviews, investigate difficult issues, and provide hands-on support.
  • Balance delivery speed with maintainability, performance, and security while growing shared ownership and engineering judgment.
  • Set service ownership and standards for testing, observability, accessibility, security, privacy, and release readiness.
  • Define service-level objectives, support incident response, and turn incident and technical-debt learnings into prioritized improvements.
  • Guide AI tool and agent use across discovery, implementation, testing, review, and documentation, with validation, independent review, and accountable human decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing engineering teams, including feedback, career development, hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations.
  • Technical credibility sufficient to understand application architecture, code, integrations, and infrastructure and guide engineering decisions.
  • Ability to plan delivery, manage capacity, milestones, dependencies, risks, and forecasts, and facilitate useful team ceremonies.
  • Ability to establish standards for testing, observability, accessibility, security, privacy, and release readiness.
  • Ability to guide practical AI adoption with validation, independent engineering review, and accountable human decisions.
