Software engineering internship opportunity in Plantation, Florida.
Develop and test enterprise Windows applications using C#/.NET and WPF on client and server sides, with Java and SQL database operations.
The application roadmap includes cloud and web services.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team analyzing, developing, designing, maintaining, and testing software for products and systems.
- Collaborate in a multi-site, worldwide development environment.
- Find, track, and repair device software defects.
- Integrate software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
Basic requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering.
- Graduation date must occur on or after December 2027.
- Must meet the stated work-authorization eligibility; F-1 CPT is accepted only for master's-level students.
Preferred skills
- Familiarity with C#/.NET on Windows platforms, C++, or Java is requested.
- SQL, WPF, Entity Framework, CoreWCF, REST, OpenSSL, Visual Studio 2017 or later, Git, Jira, Google Suite, and Confluence experience are listed as pluses.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are noted.
