Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions to solve business problems.
- Analyze requirements, contribute to application design specifications, document specifications, implement technical requirements, and develop or enhance software modules.
- Identify and troubleshoot application code issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure solutions align with architectural specifications.
- Recommend ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
- Participate in project planning to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
- Manage scope, timelines, quality, goals, and deliverables supporting the business.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in Java, J2EE, or Python and the Spring stack.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns; good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Experience building microservices and knowledge of Camunda or Temporal workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of Docker, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Experience using messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and agile or Kanban processes.
- Effective stakeholder communication and prior product engineering or development experience.
- 6–10 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in the Indian banking segment and/or fintech is desirable.
- Java Certified Developer and AWS Developer or Solution Architect certifications are desirable.
