The position focuses on software solutions and engineering practices supporting dependable digital banking offerings.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions to solve business problems.
- Work across the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and application specifications to implementation and enhancement.
- Troubleshoot application code-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews and help ensure alignment with architectural specifications.
- Recommend ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
- Join project planning with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and outline solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in Java, J2EE or Python, and the Spring stack.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and NoSQL systems such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Experience building microservices; knowledge of Camunda or Temporal workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of Docker/containerization, messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and agile or Kanban processes.
- Effective stakeholder communication; ability to manage scope, timelines, quality, goals, and deliverables.
- Prior product engineering or development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred experience and certifications
- Prior experience in Indian banking or fintech is desirable.
- Java Certified Developer and AWS Developer or Solution Architect certifications are desirable.
