The engineer will design and build web interfaces developers use to manage builds, run parallel tests, distribute builds to testers and act on feedback.
The service supports developers shipping apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS.
Role responsibilities
- Design and build Xcode Cloud's web experience with Human Interface designers and server engineers.
- Treat performance, security, privacy and accessibility as core requirements throughout development.
Minimum qualifications
- Three years of professional experience building large-scale web applications.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong web fundamentals, including accessibility and performance.
- Experience with automated testing, code review and continuous delivery.
- Experience communicating with customers and collaborating across design and engineering teams.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with a component-based UI framework such as React.
- Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Turborepo or Nx, and experience integrating web service APIs.
- Exposure to iOS or macOS development with Swift, Objective-C or C/C++.
- Fluency with AI assistants and agentic coding workflows; enthusiasm for great design.
Compensation and benefits
- The stated base pay range is $119,100 to $230,500; pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience and location. No pay cadence is specified.
- Employees may be eligible for discretionary stock programs, bonuses or commission, and relocation, subject to applicable terms.
- Benefits include medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and eligible education expense reimbursement.
