Role overview

The Software Engineer works on the Onboarding squad, building technologies and features for large-scale data processing supporting impact.com products.

The role is part of an Agile/Scrum team and involves independent technology investigation and recommendations.

What you'll do

  • Develop cloud backend services that power user interfaces and assist frontend developers with UI changes.
  • Create APIs for partners and advertisers.
  • Participate in ideation, prioritization, coding, and testing across the product lifecycle.
  • Learn new technologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.
  • Deliver quality software solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring

  • Knowledge of the Spring Framework and experience with REST APIs.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience using Java and MySQL.
  • Experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework, such as React or Angular.
  • Experience building on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks is preferred.

Salary and bonus

  • Salary range is $120,000–$140,000 USD per year.
  • An additional 5% annual bonus is contingent on company performance; eligible employees may receive an RSU grant.
