Role overview

Technical execution and development

• Contribute to requirements gathering, application and database design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Build AI-infused applications, agentic solutions, and Copilot-powered features to improve user experience, productivity, and business outcomes.
• Design and implement components and services that meet architecture, security, and business requirements.
• Use suitable technologies and design patterns to build reliable, maintainable, performant, scalable, and secure solutions.

Quality, reliability, and operations

• Apply engineering standards for design, coding, automated testing, and documentation to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
• Build production reliability with monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, and automated recovery; lead incident mitigation and root-cause analysis.
• Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Collaboration and planning

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, stakeholders, and business partners; take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in sprint, quarterly, and semester planning, provide cost and effort estimates, and communicate deliverables, risks, and milestones.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technical innovation.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications

• 3+ years building commercial software and shipping successful software products and services; 3+ years applying cloud design, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Technical experience with C#, .NET, microservices, REST APIs, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, automated testing, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience using AI development tools or building applications and agents with ASP.NET, Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure, Azure PaaS and cloud-native services, source control, and CI/CD.
• Experience in global Agile teams or startup environments with strong customer focus; Power Platform and Dynamics 365 experience is an advantage.

Compensation

• Typical U.S. base pay is $102,100 to $202,200 per year; the range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area is $133,800 to $219,200 per year.
• Some roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
