Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and operate the resilient and high-availability infrastructure which runs Aurora's forecast models
  • Build tools and platforms that empower engineers, modellers, and analysts across the business
  • Contribute to continuously improving how our platform team works
  • Create the agent and compute platforms that power Aurora

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Required attributes:
  • At least two years professional Python or TypeScript experience in a commercial, team‑based software environment
  • Experience building and maintaining infrastructure with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • You write automated tests as a normal part of your work, and you automate repeated tasks
  • Desirable attributes:
  • Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises environments, including Ansible playbooks for server configuration and patch management
  • Genuine interest in the transformation of energy markets and infrastructure
  • A relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science
