About Granum

Granum provides software for landscapers and arborists, including LMN, SingleOps, and Greenius.

Its products support estimating, scheduling, crew training, invoicing, and payments, alongside onboarding and customer support.

The role

Granum is hiring a Software Engineer 3 (P3) for the LMN Estimates product pod.

The Estimates product helps customers create profitable bids.

Work in a pod of 2–4 engineers alongside a Product Manager, Designer, and Test Engineer, shipping continuously to production.

Build, improve, design, ship, and operate critical services, working with Product and Design to turn customer pain into product improvements.

Outcomes you'll drive

  • Partner with the Product Manager and Designer to shape what gets built and how it is built.
  • Own critical services and improve their reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Build complex systems end to end.
  • Help other engineers improve through thoughtful reviews and clear documentation.
  • Anticipate failure modes, build guardrails, and apply post-incident learnings.

Engineering principles

  • Prioritize customer outcomes, small and low-risk changes, fast feedback, robust processes, efficiency, and simple industry-standard technology.
  • Engineers are expected to use, improve, and help shape AI-assisted development practices.
  • Set measurable expectations for performance, uptime, and time to restore, and treat regressions as important work.
  • Product and Engineering partners work together as teammates.

Technology stack

  • Backend: C# and .NET, multi-tenant service architecture, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Functions.
  • Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, and shared component libraries.
  • AI development: internal orchestration layer that enhances Claude and Cursor across the development lifecycle.
  • Cloud and delivery: Azure, Terraform, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions, and LaunchDarkly.
  • Observability: Datadog APM, RUM, and logs.

Does this sound like you?

  • Uses coding assistants and agentic workflows and can discuss where AI helps and where it hurts.
  • Communicates and collaborates well, writes clearly, gives useful reviews, and approaches disagreements with low ego.
  • Is curious about how the code, company, and customers work.
  • Thinks in systems, including reasoning about latency and consistency.
