An engineer with 2+ years of professional experience, including deploying and operating mission-critical services in AWS

Solid in Java fundamentals, with a real interest in going deeper

Comfortable debugging and troubleshooting production issues, with teammates to back you up

Eager to learn distributed systems and the world of payment processing

A strong communicator who asks good questions and takes feedback well

Exposure to payment processing, card issuing, or network integration concepts

Familiarity with cryptography or key management concepts

Prior on-call or production-support experience
