Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines and platform automation.
• Standardize build and release processes with engineering teams and implement infrastructure as code.
• Support application onboarding, deployment, change management, vulnerability tracking, and Service Management Transformation.
• Bridge application teams with enterprise DevOps and governance functions in a white-glove support model.
• Develop and code solutions meeting functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements; unit-test and integrate them with robust interfaces.

Education and experience

• B.E., B.Tech., or MCA.
• 4 to 6 years of experience, including 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related software engineering roles.

Foundational skills

• Experience with DevOps and GitOps models, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and policy as code.
• Experience integrating automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines for compliance, vulnerability detection, and secure delivery.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience with one or more of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory (JFrog), Ansible, XLR, Harness CD, or equivalent.
• Experience with Jenkins Multibranch pipelines, shared libraries, and Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Experience with code-scanning tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and AquaScan.
• Infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Terraform preferred, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Container orchestration experience with OpenShift (preferred), Rancher, AKS, EKS, or GKE.
• Strong Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow and end-to-end change-request processes.

Desired skills

• Desired experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, cloud adoption for application teams, and cloud CI/CD or data-platform services.
• Desired hands-on experience with a major cloud provider and Astronomer Airflow for scheduler jobs and container deployments using vendor base images.
• Prior ServiceNow experience supporting end-to-end change requests is desired.

Work schedule

• Work timings are 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
