Software Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our product development team. The candidate will understand customer requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and complete assigned development work with quality and ownership. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java and SQL, a working understanding of JavaScript and APIs, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge or work experience in AI/ML and prior experience in a product-based company will be an added advantage.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Understanding customer requirements and converting them into clear technical tasks and software solutions.
• Designing, developing, unit testing, debugging, and maintaining HRT application
• Working with JavaScript, REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to complete requirements.
• Participating in design discussions, code reviews, defect analysis, and technical problem-solving.
• Using Git for source-code management and Jira for work tracking and Agile delivery.
• Following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), coding standards, and team development processes.
• Investigating customer-reported issues and delivering timely, reliable fixes.
• Learning new technologies and adapting to new responsibilities, tools, and ways of working.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong programming knowledge and hands-on development experience in Java and system design concepts.
• Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and database concepts.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and web application fundamentals.
• Understanding of REST APIs, request/response flows, web services, integrations, and how distributed application components work together.
• Experience with Git for version control and Jira for issue and work tracking.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum development practices. Understanding of AWS concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand customer needs and deliver completed solutions with quality and accountability.
• Dedication, enthusiasm to learn, and willingness to adopt and work with new technologies.
