Software Engineer - Full Stack

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test scalable web application features across frontend and backend services.
• Resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks with limited guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-team code reviews.
• Optimize code and architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps on enterprise SaaS delivery.
• Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and own critical components end to end.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 8 years of related software development experience, with alternative experience thresholds for a master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, frontend technologies, and backend programming.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, application communication, databases, and data modeling.
• Proficiency with Git and strong problem-solving, judgment, adaptability, ownership, and quality focus.

Technical foundations

• Frontend technologies include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Backend programming may include Java, JavaScript or Node.js, or Python.
• Architecture expectations include cloud-native systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and Agile product development.

Workplace

• The role is based in Pune and requires 3–4 days of work from the office.
• Candidates must be willing to be based in Pune.
