Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Java backend services and frontend web applications.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate frontend interfaces with backend systems.
• Build responsive, accessible, performant user interfaces.
• Write maintainable, testable full-stack code.
• Work with Product, UX/UI, QA, and platform teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in peer reviews and architecture discussions; address technical debt.
• Support deployment pipelines, troubleshoot production issues across the stack, and improve delivery.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of commercial full-stack development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, and REST API skills; gRPC is a plus.
• Hands-on JavaScript or TypeScript framework experience; React is preferred, and Vue.js or Angular experience is welcome.
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive UI design, and frontend build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
• Relational database experience and SQL; understanding of OOP, SOLID, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks across the stack, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to microservices and secure coding, including OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, and secure authentication or token management.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.

Additional experience

• Java 17 with Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor, or Java 21+ Virtual Threads, is good to have.
• NoSQL, TypeScript state management, design systems, Storybook, and Figma are good to have.
• Microservices, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS or GCP, and observability tools are good to have.
• Basic web accessibility and web performance optimization knowledge is good to have.
